Big congrats to our good friend and sponsored fighter, Chris Clements, for bringing home another championship belt and win home! This was Chris’ first fight in Ontario where he fought in front of his family and friends at the inaugural PFC show in Windsor Ontario.
The first ever MMA event was held last weekend at Copps Coliseum. The Slammer in the Hammer was an event promoted by local coach Jeff Joslin, which featured special guests Chuck Lidell and celebrity referee Big John McCarthy. Our good friend and sponsored fighter Lyndon Whitlock, was victorious, with a first rd KO! Huge congrats to him and all his team.
Another MMA event in Hamilton is on the horizon. Global Warriors is coming and we will are super excited to see the city of Hamilton embracing this amazing sport! Stay tuned for more info on this event as well, which will feature a card staked with local Hamiltonians who have been waiting to fight at home!
Special thanks to everyone that came to meet fellow Canadian MMA Contender Mark “The Machine” Hominick this past Saturday at Fight Planet Hamilton. Mark has the reputation as one of MMA’s nicest fighters and always loves meeting his fans.

Josh Hill from the Iron Tiger fight team, kicked some butt this past Friday, and in style, rocking the FIGHT PLANET shorts! Josh is undefeated and on the path of becoming one of the top local fighters in the area! Big congrats from all of us at the Store!
This Friday night, the Score Fighting Series puts on it’s first show! We are so excited to have MMA in the province and that great companies like THE SCORE will be putting on shows with some very famous as well as local fighters! Than, of course, on Saturday night there’s UFC! This event is gonna be insane! Even though Brock X Dos Santos is off, Dos Santos X Carwin promises to be a brawl! Did you know that we actually were one of Dos Santos’ first sponsors in the UFC? Yep! We were promised a KO from Nogueira himself, regarding Dos Santos and just had to get our name on him! Now, this Saturday, he is fighting for the #1 contender spot for the heavyweight title and we wish him best of luck! (Don’t forget, we do have the Dos Santos walkout tees still in stock!!!)
We also want to wish the best of luck to Sam Stout, Kenny Florian and Demian Maia with their fights!
This fight looks like it’s going to be war! Clay “The Carpenter” Guida always brings it the fight now matter who is in front of them, faces the man who pulled off one of the most exciting kicks in MMA history!

For those of you who missed it, here’s the Rampage interview that has created all the controversy online. From Joe Rogan to Jimmy Kimmel to upset female media reporters, Rampage has got everyone talking… Too bad it wasn’t about his performance.
Even though the lightweight title rematch is off, the excitement for this weekends UFC, is still on! The main event is Matt Hamill against the always dangerous Quinton Rampage Jackson. After what was the largest UFC in the companies history. The question is, how will they top that? They may just have to wait until the next UFC Toronto event. The product was big, loud most importantly entertaining. Dana and the boys must have sighed a breath of relief that the fights delivered.
2 days after UFC 129, I can’t help but think about Mark Hominick’s forehead, Lyoto’s Karate Kid style knockout kick, John Makdessi’s debilitating spinning backfist, Menjivar’s bionic elbow, Rory MacDonald’s Rock Bottoms and Suplex.
GSP managed to hang on to his title again… Was it the most thrilling contest? No but by the end of the night it didn’t matter.
